Virtual Measurement Tape using a Projector-Camera-System

Overview

The goal of this project is to equip a portable projector with a Time-of-Flight camera which helps to automatically rectify the projection onto arbitrary surfaces. To create a pleasant user experience, it is essential to process the information from the depth camera in realtime and adapt the projection accordingly. You will work with depth camera prototypes which are not yet available to the public.

3D Human Computer Interaction System (with payment)

Overview

The goal of this project is to enhance a novel bare-hand human-computer interaction system. In this system, the user's hand and head pose are tracked and used for interaction in a virtual 3D desktop environment.

Combine ARM Microcomputer and Time-Of-Flight Camera Technology

Overview

In this work we try to combine a small Time-of-Flight 3D sensor with modern ARM microcomputer technology, such as a Raspberry Pi, a Tablet PC or a mobile Phone. Together, these two devices can be used a variety of different applications like on-the-fly 3D reconstruction, human-computer interaction with mobile devices or embedded gesture recognition.
